Here is an arial view of our lot at the O'Bannon Creek Aerodrome development in Goshen, Ohio.
The white lines are the runway and taxiway easements where no building can be constructed.
The white box on the left is where we proposed to site our previously planned home.
This is how the site looks today (July 2010).
Here is the hangar. I worked with Kevin Wenek at Pioneer
construction to build it. It measures 48 feet wide and 60 feet deep.
I worked with the truss manufacturer to
design the truss system so that it would support the steel bi-fold door.
The
door weighs about 3000 pounds. I installed the door and sheathed
it myself. I wired the hangar.
Joe Koepke did the site prep
work and cut the driveway. I installed the electrical service
from the road to
the hangar.
